2013 Q7, TDI; Hi folks. Have a odd problem that I hope someone else has experienced and know what to do:
Some of my dash lights go dim, actually the majority of the time when lights are in auto and under daylight conditions. The dimming is limited to the numbers on the speedometer and tachometer. The odometer, water temp and fuel work fine. The lights get dim enough that they become very hard to see. A few minutes later, they look fine.
Notes:
1. Doesn’t seem to happen when the lightning switches to “night view”.
2. I’ve tried adjusting the dash lights via the adjustment switch on the dash and the car service screen on the MMI
3. Did replace the 6 year old battery recently however this was going on before and now after that.
