I've had an annoying intermittent dash rattle from somewhere in/around the passenger side dash that defied stealership shop ju jitsu.

I solved it by thumping the dash board several times with my clenched fist, cursing loudly and calling down holy imprecations upon Audi.

Worked like a charm - silence ensued.

Banging the dash isn't ideal but take the cover off, press all the fuses in firmly and ensure the cover is pressed exactly back into place firmly. Took me about 2 months to find the problem.

Now Im worried I may have "accidentally" loosened a fuse or two. Off to the car now to check this.
