Default Did seafoam on 2007 Q7 4.2L

I had CEL due to random misfire, tried seafoam, no change.

I use EVAP hose, if any one want to do it, I can take a picture.

My next step will do intake manifold valve clean.

Yes, if you can post pics of the evac hose, I was planning to seafoam my engine. Since now, I only used directly on the gas tank. Thanks.

Here is the pic, just open one end of that hose, I opened the end closing to the black plastic sensor.

My '07 (112,000miles) has CEL for random misfire and b1 s1 o2 sensor about 1 month, and rough idle when start sometimes.
I used the same hose to do seafoam, I used about 1/3 can of seafoam the first time. VCDS to clean all the codes.

CEL came back about 6 days later. Then I did the second treament with whole can of seafoam two day in a row, since we are traveling now so don't have time and place to diy manifold clean.

So far, after around 1000 miles, everything seems fine. No more CEL.

Plan to do manifold clean when at home. So please let us know the 'how to' when you done. Thanks.

Wonder if you could do this as preventative ever year or something to keep the carbon to a acceptable level not to cause issues.
