I'll be towing my allroad in a few weeks for some stereo component swaps into a Q7 audio build (2013 but new to me). I'll probably be using a U-haul car trailer. I have no experience with U-haul to know whether they'll measure tongue weight for me. The allroad's a ~4,000lb vehicle and I'd rather not be accidentally putting 1,000lb on a receiver rated for 660lb. Has anyone tried this tow hitch that allows a supposedly direct measurement of the tongue weight? weigh-safe.com
While it's overkill for a couple trips it'd be nice to have for future towing jobs or trips.
