does roof racks on 2011 Q5 fit on 2009 Q7?

its an old message but will try to answer it. i did just that but you have to buy 2 sets (4pcs) of q5 roof racks - only use the back part and with some drilling can fit the q7.
in terms of drilling you have to move the legs a bit close 6/10 of an inch inward to be able to really make it workable.

Would it be possible for you to provide pictures of which holes you are modifying to make it work based on your comments below, please?
