Drivers Side Front Speaker Rattling
Hi,
I have a 2015 TDI that we just picked up and the Drivers Side Front Speaker Rattling. Has anyone had this experience and if so did you end up replacing the speaker or was there just something broken loose behind the speaker grill.
Here is a link to a quick video of what I am hearing.

Thanks,
Colby

similar problem
I had a very similar problem: rumbling/buzzing bass frequencies from the front door speaker. I replaced both front speakers (L and R) and had no problems ever since...
I took the speaker apart. The magnet was slightly off center and that prevented the speaker from moving freely in the tube (you can test this by pushing the speaker into the magnet repeatedly, it should move freely without rubbing). I tried to recenter the magnet, but that did not help. The magnet was not even glued to the speaker body; it just snapped on the metal surface (very poor workmanship) and I'm guessing it must have floated away from the center position over time with all the door slamming etc.
Your problem seems to be related to the grille, but I do have to say I'm hearing some strange bass noises in the video even with the grille pushed inside. The speaker is bolted to the door and it sits on a rubber-plastic seal - I don't think the vibrations originate there. The grille is press-fitted into the door panel. And there's air between the two. My best guess is your speaker is slightly busted and it is triggering some secondary harmonic frequencies in the grille or the components around.

Well usually a rattle means you tore the cone, aka blew the speaker...
HOWEVER that rattle you have sounds like something is loose, something is getting vibrated at that particular Hz frequency.
Only way to track that down is to start pulling thing apart to find what is loose and getting vibrated,
It could be as simple as something known to vibrate that was being controlled by some sort of dampener has now moved. like a rubber piece moved/fell off
or a screw is loose from the shaking...
I dont think that sounds like a blown speaker.
Are you demonstrating if you push on the speaker cover it stops doing it?
