Thansk for the response......I have a 2008 S-line with adaptive headlights, so same replacements as you. You don’t have the boxes still that would possibly have the part numbers listed on them? If not, are these Tri-Xenon LED AFS E-Code Headlights on the current 2014 European Q7 as stock equipment?
i sold and shipped out my old headlights in the boxes the new ones came in...
i'll email the contact i have in europe who sourced them for me.
pretty sure you will need additional hardware to convert the harness from the pre-face lift to the post face lift headlights.

Finally had a moment to install the set of OEM E-Code headlights (AFS Tri-Xenon) I purchased back in November. Since many people sent me PM asking about differences and benefits I thought I would post a bit more details this time around to show exactly the differences.
OEM E-Code Headlights & Philips XV50 Bulbs:
OEM Philips vs. Philips XV50:
North American Region OEM Projector Cut-Off:
European OEM Projector Cut-Off:
European OEM Headlight Illuminated:
You will need to have access to a VagCom cable to enable all the features however if you're going for a temporary looks improvement they will be some what plug and play and work without coding.
When installing the bulbs into the projectors do not manhandle the bulb or the projector itself. If you are careful enough to swap bulbs without moving the projector too much the vehicle will reset the headlights to the last settings or enough where you can fine tune manually with a screwdriver.
I haven't had a moment to photograph the road or the differences between the two but in the previous posts you can see how well they work and improve visibility all around.

more important is that they function better. in rural areas you can really see how much better these headlights actually are for anyone who lives or spends time in the "country" or in the mountains this is definitely for you. worth every penny.

they look great Icono..was thinking about letting 180customs 'remove' the amber in the front lens but i'm a little leery about compromising the seal on the headlight...

you will not get the benefit of EU projector which creates more light and sharper beam pattern. also you will have divots in the corner of the headlight where the reflector clips into along with an exposed bulb where the marker light sits. it won't look good (IMO).
on a b5 but you get the idea:
i have a set of 2015 Headlights with eleven hundred miles on them if you want to experiment. i am going to list them for sale in the classifieds or on ebay.

Unless the shop does a good job, you run the risk of moisture leaking through the seal if the seal is not re-installed correctly. The moisture could cause a permanent haze on the inside of the lens. E-Codes are probably the best way to go about removing the amber reflector. If you look around you will see a lot of Japenese cars from the 90s that have been severely tuned that have issues with hazing in the headlights. Most of the time its because the lights have been tampered with.
