Default EVAP Canister Location??

Does anyone know where the EVAP/Charcoal Canister is located in a 2007--2015 Q7? I have to replace mine as it is leaking fumes but I can't find it for the life of me!

I found it--it's in the right rear wheel well, behind the wheel well liner in the 1G Q7. It's held in there by 3 bolts and has 3 vacuum line connections and 1 electrical connection.

Hey was this a difficult change? The dealer is saying it will be $1500 to replace it, but I found a new OEM part for only $220 online. It seems pretty simple.

Doesn't sound like it's too difficult based on his description.

Had to replace it, change some liquid or parts or simply open and clean the container? I can not find my ... did you have to remove the entire lining of the wheel cellar?

Hello Brett.
Did you change the evaporator? You have details?
The smell is gone?
Thank you

Yes, it was an easy fix. You will have to jack up the vehicle and remove the tire to get at it.

Good to hear it was an easy fix. Did it solve your problem?

It did, I also replaced what is called an N80 valve on the engine too. I have a 3.6L V6.
