Factory Hitch Cover/Plate

While washing the misses Q this morning I noticed the cover that goes around the factory installed hitch has gone missing. Does anyone have s schematic or a part no./name so I can try and order on-line instead of at the dealership?

Thanks!

"Around" the hitch? Do you mean the square hard rubber plug that goes into the receiver? If yes, you can get these at pretty much any hitch store and in a wide variety of designs.

Handy option.

No, its the grey/silver plastic piece that covers the opening in the bumper valance. It attaches with four twist lock cam/thumb screws that turn 1/4 lock to lock.

Do you mean this? Mine is on a 2011 so I'm not sure if this is the same. I don't see why it shouldn't be the same.

Thats the piece tas2573. Thanks. I am going to pop rivet the new one in to prevent it from walking off again.

There are several different part #'s. Prior to 2010, the opening was a different size, and 2010-2015 (not 2017) have the same size.

Beyond that, there is a smooth panel for the S-Line and a bump panel for the non-S-line models. See pics below. I can't find much on the 2007-2009 covers other than the part number. Your best bet is to call your dealer with your VIN to determine the right part. I know for my 2013 S-Line with no tow package that the part # is 4L0807819M RR (platinum grey).

Part # for 2010-2015 S-line is 4L0807819M
Platinum grey if necessary paint as required use:. PLATINUMGREY for Audi Q7 (2010 - 2012). #4L0807819M 1RR

Part # for 2010-2015 non-S-Line is 4L0807819H (V7W has tow hitch, can't find code for no tow hitch)
Sabre(black) for painting in color of for color of vehicle: vehicle made by Audi. #4L0807819H V7W

Part # for 2007-2009 is 4L0807819E
Sealing cap. COVER for 2009 Audi Q7. #4L0807819E
