Front Runner Roof Rack
I had never seen a photo of one of these on a Q7, so here yeh go.. I'll try to get some more photos this weekend after I mount a full sized spare tire up on the roof and start working on my HAM radio install.. I got it on last night in the dark and only could snap a quick pic on the way to work this morning.
Sunroof opens w/out any interference, and it sits much lower than a basket on cross beams.

Hi!
How is it going so far with this rack?
Looking for one for my 2017 Q7 with the same needs: full size spare wheel, antenna mount capability (since the roof is all aluminium and possibility to use additional storage and aux front lighting
However, looks like yours model is quite short and is mounted somewhat more upfront. Any reason for this?
Also, how did you solve the issue with the wiring of the antenna? How is it routed inside?
Sorry for lots of questions at once, but you are the first real-world user of this I could find on Q7

I love it, I could try to push the mounts back but I dont think it'd sit level, ive been thinking of pushing it back so I can use sunroof more but I've yet to do it.. antenna wire goes through the rear gate and is just routed down into the spare tire area where the radio resides.
I'm 99% sure im the only one with one of these, so with you we have enough ppl to start a club :P
