Total bummer!!

I bought my used Q7 TDI in December...

just reading this!

2. Be the registered owner or lessee of an Affected Vehicle as of November 8, 2015, and maintain ownership, registration and possession of the Affected Vehicle through the activation process (for clarity, the Affected Vehicle must have been purchased or leased by the current registered owner or lessee prior to November 9, 2015, the date of program initiation);

Don't feel bad. I bought my 2015 3.0 TDI new in March 2015; and when I enter my VIN for registration, I get the following message:

Your vehicle is not affected

Based on our records, your vehicle is not affected by the TDI emissions issue and you are not eligible for the Goodwill Package.

For additional inquiries please contact the Audi Customer Experience Center:

1-800-822-2834

auditalk@audi.com
So I call the 800 number and the person says that her database also shows it as not eligible; but she cannot tell me why. Promises to investigate and call me back in 1-2 business days. No response yet.

Also sent an email to Auditalk, and zero response there, too.

I'm with Braga on this one. Bought my TDI in December 2015. I entered my VIN and it says the vehicle is affected though, but i have to confirm i am in compliance with the program rules. Then it says you will have to visit an Audi dealership and present them with a bunch of documents like proof of ownership, etc. Oh well

Looks like my 2010 TDI is affected. Thanks for the heads up. I will read the fine print before providing Audi my info.

I had the same thing happen to me. A 2015 TDI Prestige. It seems to be an issue with some Q5 owners as well. I spoke to Audi too and they confirmed all my information and would call me back on Friday. No additional information. Seems like they are doing everything possible to keep this as a recurring irritant.

Ha! Add me to the list. My 2015 Q7 TDI does not show up in the VIN check. What a crock.

It must be a timing issue. Maybe the 2015 models are not in the database yet? The earlier ones, like my 2010, seem to go through with no issues.
