I used to have an 07 Sline (which I enjoyed) and its replacement the 2013 is
a wonderful machine, with some exceptions, one of them being the
non-adjustable headrest, I never really like the new head rest in the current Q7
line up so I did some research and wondered if I could use the head rest from an Audi A8 (2012+) which I happen to love.

I invested into a couple of salvaged (black) units, and I have to say I
like it....they are comfortable and fully adjustable.

could you post part numbers and source? there are replacement parts made specifically for the Q7 which match the "leather" but i cannot find them.

I will get some tomorrow in the daylight for you as this only shows the back but you can see the soft leather parts at the front which move like wings to cup your head.

ah, i just realized you're not in North America... triple bonus. better seats, better leather and better options.

Here you go the front of mine.... but i do have the genuine rear entertainment setup.

Those headrests are awesome!! The United States gets screwed on so many good options. The ROW Q7s gets much nicer options.

sadly that leather looks like the nappa leather and won't match the cricket leather found in our vehicles. the a6/a8 would match better but only the a8 has the comfort headrest.
