I pulled the trigger on the Q7 this weekend! Haven't ever seen my wife this giddy over a car! Thanks for everyone's input. Now to decide if I want/need to get an extended warranty.

The Audi CPO is transferable and proratable. So, if you sell it privately, you can also sell it to the new guy, or cancel with Audi and get your prorated amount refunded. The upside is you're covered in case of failures, the downside is its expensive, but you can wrap it into your loan. Good luck.

The car has 26500 miles on it now and has Audi warranty until 50,000 miles. There is no Audi care, CPO or extended warranty at the present time. I am trying to decide if I want to buy an extended warranty. As I see it the stuff you are referring to does not apply to me.
