Did a search and I couldn't find anything. Don't have my owners manual with me right now, just curious, because I push the valet button, and it lights up but nothing changes. Is there a code I can program? What features does valet mode limit?

When you hit the valet mode button, then only give the attendant the valet key, it prevents them from opening the rear hatch and glove box.

It's on the right side of MMI display in between the "Screen Off" button and Glove box button



Here it is with the Valet Light enabled.




US 2007 models and ROW vehicles may have it located where my Park Assist button is located. To the left of MMI display, and the top button.

Don't have that in the UK, Guess that's because we are not posh enough to get others to park for us haha.

hahaha. i never used it and valet whenever available. there isn't anything worth stealing in our cars to begin with except perhaps snacks for kids or chargers.

Same here. I was hoping that it limited speed/RPM like some other valet modes do. What's the point of locking the trunk? If someone really wanted to get in to the trunk they could just fold the seats. Hahaha!

Just use vcds to enable transport mode and they are restricted to something like 20mph
