Default Hunt for Q7 4.2 FSI

Hello, since my A6 is parked up until snow goes so I can try and fix if (possibly oil pump or ice causing low oil pressure)

I'm looking for a "new" car. Have been looking at A8 with the V8 4.2 l before but after researching and looking at the cam chain tensioner issues I decided not to venture down that road. However wife and I sat last night looking what would suit and she fell in love in the Q7 (I'm hesitant to another Audi but we know who's the boss). The one she wants is the 4.2 l version (2006-2009) . I straight away said no due to the issues with tensuibets. However after actually reading a bit about changing the tensioners and chain I realised it's different engine in Q7 and the A8 4.2 petrol. So I tried finding out if the same chain issue exists with the Q7 but I'm having some mad Google issues and only find things about the other engine so please help a guy out, yes or no?

Any other bits to look out for?

What I've found so far :

Don't get the ceramic breaks
Air suspension rear fail
Amplifier dies # multimedia center dies then too
Water leaks into car
camshaft position sensor
Oil leak (oil pump)
Faulty fuel pump (s)
Recommend to change the chain and tensioner +20k km

Different chain and tensioners. No plastic guides. Look at part numbers. The 4.2L in the Q7 is closer to an RS4 motor.

Never heard of that. I always heard it was a lifetime chain. 134k on mine and runs great. Key is frequent oil changes in my opinion.
