I paid for the factory warranty to be stretched to 72 months or 100K miles; After the first 50K miles there is a $100 deductible per occurance; The warranty is good at all Audi dealers in North America; $2,500. I felt that this was needed for all the high tech electronics and the cost of Audi parts.

I'm thinking the same, was the price negotiable?

Do you normally keep your cars longer than 4 years or 50,000 miles?

Who is the warranty administrator? I understand that Audi no longer markets these extended warranties/insurance policies-

Default I know that the Q7 is a fairly new forum but everyone should get used to changing the subject ...

everytime. It looks much cleaner and it avoids clicking on the subject if the reply is short.

If you're keeping your car for 6 years you should have the choice of buying the extended warranty say after 2 or 3 years. I sell Audi's for a living and I see it all the time, people always think that they're going to keep the car for longer and they then decide to change it for whatever reason. In the mean time hey have paid a few thousand $ for something that is going to go to waste unless they sell it privately and even then you'd never get your money back.

Default agree

If I wait 2-3 years like your saying, will the warranty price be significantly higher since it's on a used car?
