I researched everything, of course, Cayanne, Toureg, Mercedes can do these, but they don't look like the Q7!
I can't speak to the Touareg, but the Q7 drives and rides better than the Cayenne and/or the MB ML I've had both.

How about safety features like lane assist, adaptive cryise control (i think sline has it?), emergency stop assist (brakes for you if detects something in front). Stuff like these that some newer suvs have.

My 2015 does not have adaptive cruise control (some do) or emergency stop but it does have sensors with sound.
The other model SUV's mentioned may have a ton of safety features, touch screens, tech, but they don't have the performance, low tow ratings, so depending on the importance of that, this was my true basis.
The others just cannot hold a candle to the performance and feel of a Q!
This is how a car should be, like they used to be, made to drive (operated) with your assistance. I prefer to drive my car, not the other way around. And this I DO!

As an owner of 2 prior generation and a current generation Q7 IMHO no comparison - the new version is so much better. I just completed a 4,400 mile road trip and the driver assistance programs are amazing and made the drive much better.

Mine does have lane assist and after 30 minutes driving after purchasing this sweet ride and of seeing freaking out lights flashing on both sides of the vehicle and me not understanding what they are or how to shut them down, when I did figure it out, they have not been on since!

That's not lane assist - that's blind spot monitoring.
