Iphone and pandora through MMI on 2011 Q7
I’m still tinkering with our new to us 2011 Q7. We have the iPhone/Ipod connection in the glove box. Is there any way to use pandora on your phone and connect to the car stereo? I haven’t had any luck with this yet and all the radio stations in Phoenix are crap. I’ve loaded an SD card full of my music with success but the wife likes pandora.
Thanks in advance.

I've seen it done when someone has unlimited data on their smartphone. They indicate it works pretty well.

Ours is 2011 also. Just went to the garage and tried it. Works fine. I took a docking extension cable and plugged it into the AMI connector in the glove box which allowed the iPhone to be available with the glove box closed. (the cable extends to the console or wherever. )
When you choose "source" It says "John's" iPhone and starts playing stored iTunes music. Touch the manual button on MMI and stop that. Then you can use the Home button on the iPhone normally. Go to Pandora and --- It Works!.
I like Pandora better than Sirius so I'll be using this on trips.
Newer Q7s are able to stream thru Bluetooth I believe.
