i searched the forum and it seems most LED conversions involve the DRLs, but i haven't seen any posts in the way of converting either/both the cornering lights and driving (low beam) lights. i'm wondering if it's worth the expense or possible code errors involved.

anyone know of any successful conversions?

subbing. you mean the euro model LED lights that are *cough* illegal *cough* here, right? because i'd love to see that conversion.

or wait, those are "laser" lights... you just mean the LED/bulb swap? you can usually do this on most vehicles by just matching up power and heat output. i'm sure the audi ecu would pitch a fit, but you can find led cluster bulbs for this in every car i've ever owned.

Very interested in this as well.. eBay has some D1S replacement bulbs.. I don't think the dust cover behind the headlights would be big enough for the wire extending from the LED bulb.. As of right now HID Xenon is still superior to LED but I wouldn't be surprised if in the next couple years LED bulbs surpass HID bulbs.
