I got the polarity wrong on the right side LED and that caused the left LED to blink a couple of times and them go out.
If you do get the polarity wrong I think you have to restart the car to reset the lights. After messing up the polarity on the right LED I couldn't get either side to light back up until I reset the ignition. I was previously just turning the parking lights off and on the check the bulbs.
FYI, the discount code Tuner 2010 was expired so I tried Tuner 2011 and voila!

My Q7 just came in. Have always gotten my LED license plate bulbs from Hoen. Mine just came in the mail. Will be doing this install soon as well thanks. Hoen has great quality bulbs both fog and license which I have on my E63 and Carrera. Have had then in for 4 years w/o any probs.
For all those that have doubts, it really does add a little bit of class to the back of the vehicle to compliment the HIDs in front....

I find it interesting Audi didn't provide LEDs as standard equipment on the newer Q7's since the rest of the car has been converted to LED. BMW and Lexus use them for license plates too. I used blue colored traditional bulbs on my Z4's interior and license plate. They look just like LED to my eye and are much cheaper than LED's. Have not done the Q7's yet.
