Okay Q7 owners. I need help with setting the door locks. I previously had a Lexus RX and I liked the fact it unlocked the doors when I put the car in park to help expedite the unloading/loading during school drop offs and pick ups. Is there a way to do this on a 2015 q7?

For either you can hit the unlock button on your door, or for dropping off the passengers can pull the door handle twice (from inside) and they unlock. Not aware of an auto unlock setting like the Lexus.

Most vehicles are doing away with the auto unlock when the vehicle is put in park for safety reasons. The auto unlock is just asking to get robbed / carjacked . You'll begin to like the way the Q7's door handles work, it's essentially like the car is unlocked always because all you have to do is grab the handle and the door will unlock. But no one can open the door from the outside.
