Default Looking to buy a used Q7, help me spend some money.

I'm looking for a used Q7. I've found two local and three out of town that seem to be fair to good deals. All are S-Line models. They range from 2011 to 2013. 15k to 33k miles, $35,000 to $45,000. All are gas 3.0 S-Line models, w/ Bose. Three have 20" and two have 21" wheels. I noticed the ones that have brushed aluminum interior accents have only one 12V plug on top. The ones with wood accents have two 12V plugs. Does this mean anything?

Some are advertised as Prestige, and some don't say. Are all S-Line models Prestige? If not, how do I tell?

Are there any other real differences b/w 2011, 2012 and 2013? My concern is the processor and/or features with the MMI.

Only 1 is being sold by an Audi dealership as CPO. However, it's the farthest away and I'd have to buy it by only looking at pics. That's a lot of faith when spending over $40k. However, on paper it seems like the best deal...2012, 20k miles, $41k. The other two that are out of town are only a 5 hour drive, so I can go look if that's the one I pick.

Thanks in advance for the feedback. I can list links to the ones I'm considering if anyone wants to comment.

2011 has the "old" interior with MMI 3G etc.. Interior got a facelift in 2012 with new MMI 3G+ that has Google Maps... New steering wheels, new speedometer cluster.. Etc.. Exterior wise, 2011 and 2012 are the same (besides 2012+ Black Optics package) and in 2013 the shape of the exhaust pipes changed..

Default CPO is always the best

CPO equals extended warranty worth its weight in gold if you have a problem. As I understand there were three trim levels premium (base) premium plus (2nd class) prestige (1st class) and the S line was an option package you added on top of the trim range selection. I have a 2012 S line prestige with every option available incl. the 6 pass seating vs the 7 (bench seat second row) and it was a CPO and has a warranty that will see me through 130000 miles and I am very pleased with it. 21 in wheels are problematic as there are less choices for tires in that size. Good luck with your choice and you can turn the 5 hour trip into an overnight vacation!

I was told the CPO only added 2 years from original purchase date or a total of 100k miles.

The one out if town has 20k miles, and the CPO would go through 08/17.

How are these maintenance wise? From what I've read......they are about as reliable as an Acura or Lexus. I do have an MDX that has been rock solid for 12 years and 125k miles with just routine & consumable maintenance.

Default after 1 year

mine has been flawless. I have had a few minor squawks (squeaky this etc) and they have dealt with everything with no fuss at all. They even give me a loaner car when I take it in for service (dealer is 150 miles away in Sacramento) and they have treated me very well so far.

I drove a 2013 S-Line Prestige this morning. The only thing I didn't like was the tire howl. Is that typical with the 21's? The were Michelins with about 50% tread life.

I'm currently driving around looking for one with 20's to compare.

the more worn they get the louder the tire becomes or if the inner edge is feathered or experiencing some scalloping you will get loud tire noise compared to the smaller tires however it shouldn't be a deal breaker.

Default I have two sets of 20's mounted

One set has Pirelli's one set is yokahama. The yokahamas are quieter than the pirellis, other than that they are both fine. the yokahamas seem to handle a little bit better but don't have the feedback that the pirellis give in every day driving.
