Default Which Michelins do I get for my Q7 TDI? 20 inch?

Looking at replacing my pirellis that came with the car... not thrilled about the Asimetrico's performance... Im an aggresive driver, but my wife drives most of the time.
We do 1+ trips to the east coast maybe even a trip to the mountains with the Q7, so wet and dry is the predominant environment...
Im a michelin fan but cant really put my finger on which model tire...!? ANy help will be greatly appreciated!

If you're running the 20" wheels and tires, I've really liked my Pirelli Scorpion Verde Plus (not the older Verde which has a lower treadwear rating), which is a completey different tire verses the horrible Scorpion Asimetrico OEM tire. Here's a thread regarding All season tires for the Q7.

Since the time I bought my tires, it appears that Michelin has come out with a Pilot Sport A/S3 in our tire size. I would expect this tire to provide better handling than the Scorpion Verde Plus, but more than likely will wear faster. For a longer lasting Michelin, I would assume the Premier LTX is the one to go with, but I heard that early tires had a bit of a noise issue which I think has been worked out, but I'm not certain.

A lot of folks also like the Continental DWS06, which I've heard has better snow traction when new, but the sidewalls are a bit softer, so don't expect great handling.

I went with Continental SP Contact 5 SUV 112Y/ XL AO from Tirerack size 285/45R20's on my TDI. Very happy with the outcome. Not cheap, 353.00 Ea. I can probably get around 16K or more on them. I did add 10 mm spacers in the front and 20 mm in the back.
