I've had this issue as well on my '13 A6. NIts not just the software that turns off, the entire display panel turns off and folds back in. It take a few seconds and automatically opens up and reboots. Not sure what to make of this. I have not been able to identify a trigger for this happening....

Just curious, is it still under warranty? I'm assuming that if it was u'd prolly be going to the Audi dealership about this but either way since u went to the dealership and they said it should be working now you should probably go back and tell them tht it isnt working and get them to do something about it?

I dont have that much time to go there, its a bit far away from where I live. And its not under warranty.
