Needing jumpstarted after sitting over night
The last 2 mornings (which have been cold in the north east) I've had to jump my Q7 that I recently purchased. Everything else works just simply wont start with key or push button. Until I leave it connected to another car for about 10 minutes. After jumping it I can go all day no issues. Seems to drain over night. Wanted to make sure it was in fact the battery before I buy one.

You would have to eliminate the possibility that there isnt a parasitic drain. beyond that you would need to get the battery tested. which being under the left seat isnt all that easy.
My car started turning on the bumper tail lights if it sits outside in the cold after around 5 or 6 hours, I assume that time will shorten as it gets colder out.
This is going to be nightmare to track down unless I can get a wiring diagram and figure out what switch is causing it to do this, I am suspecting the rear door switch making the car think its open when its not.
