Default Negotiating a new 2015 with 2017's hitting the lot?

Has anyone had any experience with this yet? I am going to test drive a 2015 this weekend as my current X5 is getting a bit long in the tooth. From the dealer's website, it doesn't look like they are taking that much off of MSRP. Any thoughts?

I think its a buyers market on the 2015's. I prefer it to the 2017 (although I have not seen one in the flesh so to speak) Check dealer stock nationwide, if a dealer has a lot of them still in stock they will want to move them, even audi put lipstick on the last run to get dealers to buy them. A cross country trip for the best deal onb a new car is a fun adventure.

depending on options you can get anywhere between 12-15% off sticker. if it is a fully equipped Q7 $72k+ sticker 8-10%.

Thanks! I'm looking at a 2015 where the MSRP is $68,230, but "with available savings" its $64,084. It's a Prestige, but it hard to tell what options it has from the website however it does say it has "LUXURY PACKAGE,21" S LINE PLUS PACKAGE"

Last week, I got a 2015 Q7 with MSRP of $70650 for $64000. They also gave me a set of winter tires (retail $1350). The dealer got the car from Boston for me. I live in CT.

Th sales manager at my dealer told me a couple of weeks ago that with the incentives he would be somewhere around $6-6500 off. I told him I'd be interested at $10,000 off.

There are a lot of them in inventory and now that the 17s are hitting the lots I'm thinking we will see bigger discounts. I don't see Houston dealers going as deep as some of the deals I see in the forum with Audis in general. I'm taking my A7 in for service and I'm going to tell him that I'm a buyer at $10,000 off and a fair deal on my trade. Like I told him, it's really a leftover 2015 now. I'm not impressed with $6,500 off at all on last years car. That is right at 10% as I'm looking at a $64,xxx Prestige.

In the previous post, I wrote $64000. The dealer actually gave me an additional $2000 for a loyal customer. We own an S5 that was sold by the same dealer two years ago. Cheers!

3 weeks ago I got 10K off (6500 of msrp + 1500 loyalty + 2000 financing) MSRP 65K. Took one off the lot. Was able to get another dealer to 8500 off msrp and that was a dealer trade. You can get more but depends on dealer.

Anything less than a 10% off MSRP would be a bad deal for the 2015 model. The premium plus are being discounted by 15% in my region but that also includes the 6% supplier discount. Otherwise its around the range of 12%.
