Default Not sure how Advanced Key works on my 2008 Audi Q7

First off the remote fob works fine(Unlock, Lock, Open Rear Gate etc....) but .....with the key in my pocket,
I can only lock my doors if I push the button on the Drivers Handle, when I push the button on the other handles it does not lock, are they supposed too?\
The doors unlock when I approach the Drivers Side door. The other three doors, unlock if pull on handle once and pull again. Is this the way they are supposed to work?
Also below are the only Fault codes I am getting for the doors. I have research my owners manual and other websites without any luck, any information would be appreciated.

That is essentially how our '07 worked. Watch the door handles though, they can/will cause a chassis battery drain.

When you have the key in your pocket, all doors are supposed to be able to lock the Q7 by pressing the button on the door handle. All doors should unlock the vehicle by simply touching the handle. If you have to pull the handle - twice- in order to unlock, this indicates defective sensors in the handles. This is chronic and apparently happens due to water infiltration. Our 2011 had one handle that would not lock the car and our 2015 had 2 when we got it. I had those replaced under warranty. It’s expensive because it requires painting the replacement handles.

So you just can't replace the sensors it has to be the whole handle? I Ebayed the handle and it looks like some places in europe sell just sensors

I’ve seen that too. Mine was warranty and dealer says they always do the whole handle. If doing it myself I’d be tempted to try a sensor replacement. I think the sensor and the switch ( button) are separate though.
