Oil consumption?
OIL CONSUMPTION! Every 7000 miles from oil change my 3.0 TFSI needs a quart, but not 300 miles earlier when I checked it last! WTH? Where does it disappear to all of a sudden? I mean, I pretty much drive like a grandpa! seriously. Audi tops it off, no worries, but my Yota never did that, with 290,000 miles on it! Yours?

Got my A8 about a month ago, topped it up after 2 weeks , and now the warning is back on. 1000 miles. I’m at 58 K. Car is still under Carvana warranty, this should be covered, right? And I should take to an Audi dealership? 3.0 T btw.

Audi says oil consumption, even heavy use, is totally normal for superchaged engines! I call bullsh*t! But most all Audis do.
I am abusing oil at almost 600 miles to add.
I was hoping that the flush and different oil and additives would help. I may just as well switch back to castrol.

Well, that is something you will have to speak to carvana about.

It can leak, you may have bad pcv valve (run vcds scanner to see errors). But really seems normal according to the owner's manual.
I would dream to have your consumption.
Technicians warn against capricious 3.0 tfsi and advise to run away from it.

This was a great explanation and understandable! And he is right, although I do love this car, I would not own another, I don't believe.

The problem should have been addressed by the manufacturer. It really is unacceptable as far as quality standards go, for Audi/VW/Porsche to produce engines like that.
