Please Help,,,, hatch not locking Q7 201
 

I’m having problem with the hatch not locking Q7 2014. When I push the close button, the hatch goes down but does not lock. There is usally a motor that pulls it in all way to lock the hatch after its been close, but I cannot get that to work at all. The worst part is that the alarm wont set with the hatch unlock and you cannot manually push it by hand to lock it. The trunk light also still open which case drain the battery.




Any ideas?

More than likely you need a new latch, Ive seen this issue come up a few times on here.. do some searching of this subforum.
