PLS Help 2009 q7
hello everyone. i have a problem that drives mecrazy and i will try to keep it short as possible. 2009 q7, 84000 miles ( with no repairs ) all working good btw. problem is steering wheel shaking, vibrating around 60 to 70 mph. new tires, new brakes, not pulling sideways even when braking. one week 3 wheel balance, rotating tires, 2 alignments, everything under the car looks still new and clean. dealer said its brakes, but....i got new brakes....went to different mechanics and i cannot get a straight answer. i am going nuts here cause i cannot solve the problem. also last winter... i pulled a couple of semi trucks from the snow a jerked the car a bit to hard, but the problem didn;t show up until ariund march. if anyone has opinions or hints i would appreciate.dealer wnats me to replace tires, brakes etc all the stuff i did by myself. i am tired paying ppl money and not fixing the problem for so long. thank you guys!!!

I would guess ball joint/control arm, possibly a tie rod end. Both of my Q7's exhibit some shake, and I can hear/feel a clunk when I pull in/up my driveway from one of the joints on the driver side front suspension. There are good replacement control arms, and there are bad replacement control arms.

FYI, my wife doesn't notice the clunk/knock when she pulls in/up the driveway. It is very slight, most people would not notice it in either of my Q7's. I notice it because I've been working on my own cars since I was 17.
