I've been looking at these and from what i can see, there are 3 types, see pics below. I prefer the first pic, as it looks more OEM and covers the buttons..

I was looking at these the other night, and all the photos I pulled up the thing that really got my OCD was the trim, it does not match very well or look good, possible gaps and finish differences on the trim, buttons etc that would drive me insane.

The problem buying from Aliexpress is they all steal each others photos and you really don't know what your going to get or how the finish is actually going to look as many of their photos are mockups, photoshopped or terrible quality.

I, however, do like that "popup" look of the 1st pic that looks similar to the new gen audis. Any more pics of that setup? It looks like it has a "base" that covers the oem unit which is nice. I wouldn't want a screen just ontop of another screen.

Their website is giving me errors. They have a Facebook page, that shows a lot of installs done, looks good. I ran a more expensive android type unit in my Touareg (Dynavin N6), while it was nice, it also had quirks that got old pretty fast. However this just layering an interface over, could be fine?

Looks like I'm alone but I kind of prefer the other one that's embedded. I believe the firmware is basically the same on both. The other one looks a little bit out of place for me...

Any idea how easy is it to install rear view camera and to take the cables to the unit? I don't have it and it's another motivation for me to look for this units. I'm used to the camera on the S7 and the Q7 is a big truck which should come with the camera as standard...

It doesn't seem all that difficult to install but.. there are absolutely no installation manuals anywhere. I even emailed them, their sales team responded right away and forwarded it to their tech guy hasnt responded in a week.. doesn't sound like there's much support for this at all. There does seem to be a Canadian shop in toronto that installs the popup one 4x4shop.ca but those are hideous and hide the parking system button.

So this popout version lets call it, I like. But he didn't show any of the Audi MMI general settings, car settings, etc? Also the backup camera seemed to only have the orange lines, not the distance lines etc?

I could care less about playing DVDs the main reason for an upgrade would be using Google Maps etc and to look a bit more modern.

I also have a 2010 Audi Q7 and was looking at these android systems to upgrade the MMI, but the problem is I have a RHD and these are for LHD installations....any ideas where I may be able to source a RHD model??
