Default Q7 Better Navigation system

Hi all. I own an AUDI 2014 Q7 RS Diesel that I love.
what was frustrating to me was the very basic MMI system , No Waze No Google map , No internet radio No notification reading etc..
Since I write software I created my own . I use it now for the last 3 month . It is so much better I love it. I just wish I created it long time ago . You can see info about it and a Do IT Yourself guide in this link :

MMI+

Let me know what you think

Here's what I think, first of all wtf is an RS Diesel? are you just making stuff up?

My 2014 had google maps, Satellite Traffic, and Bluetooth Pandora just fine.. so yeah, whats the point?

YES! My 2015 is great with Google, even after I turn off internet, google map still works. And Sirius is fine, excepting updates which always wipes out my presets and disappearing channels!

RS? It's all good!

I would rather buy a real mmi unit replacement from China than play live video of my phone on the current mmi, which is essentially what your convoluted contraption is doing.

You can do it. However based on your remarks("Play live video of my phone" ) ,you have not understood (not even close) how it works or what it does - It is not for everyone

1st option

Connect MMI+ Box to external monitor using HDMI or AV connections
What's the point of buying an external monitor?

2nd option

Connect MMI+ to your existing car screen, if your car has video Aux -In
In this option, "Video in motion" must be enabled in your car, for MMI+ to function while driving.
2nd option, you're basically using the mmi as a second monitor of your phone.. in otherwords playing video

1) This is only an option . Some drivers prefer to have bigger and/or Higher resolution display
2) This is not a screen cast app ( Screen cast is available if you want ) in my system your phone controls the
screen of the car (for example my Q7 does not have a touch screen display )

Look closely at the photo that I provided (first post) - You can see Waze is running on the car screen and the phone screen is totally different .

You May download both APPs free to test

Thanks

Mickey
