dear friends, i am new to this forum. But need if some one can help. On my issue.
local audi center confirmed me that my Audi Q7 2011 is having fuel pressure and intake manifold problem. I asked them for the replacement and they confirmed that they have fuel pump and filter and they will replace the same. However they dont have intake manifolds in stock and will be replaced later. I agreed as had no issue in drive due to intake manifold.
after fuel pump and filter replacement during test drive when engine was at 5000 rpm the engine gace EPC alarm. The audi technician switched off the car said that this is because of the intake maifolds. When i tried the drive car was behaving strange. Gear switching on auto transmission was very abnormal. And abnormal vibration in the engine. Than all of sudden vibration increased and engine was off.
Than i tried to start the engine and it doea not crank. Batter is ok. Loghts are on. But no movement in the starter and engine.
Car sent to audi center theough truck. After couple of hour audi technician confirmed that its because of intake manifold problem and engine not trun / crank due to some locking in cylinder. It will be tesolved once i take manifold replaced.
Can any one help me to understand what this issue and whats my audi center is sharing, is it the solution.
