Default clicking noise dash from climate control when A/C on :( - First post too !! :(

Hi all,

Firstly introduce myself. I bought a used 2007 Audi Q7 3.0 TDI from Jag Stratstone around 6 weeks ago. They must have taken it in as a PX and sold as quick as possible. Low mileage (54k miles).

Really nice drive, but has been back with them 3 times already to fix the A/C!! They don't seem to be able to get it to work permanently.

I thought it was solved but now had an issue where the air con blows for 5 seconds when you start the car, then cuts off and the fans stop blowing. Get this scary clicking noise from the dash?

Apparently the car had the compressor for the air con replaced, and has been regassed but still not fixed.

I've attached a video to the issue.

I have done a search online but only finding audi A8 issues from 2000 for some reason!?

I'm hoping over the years someone has seen this enough times to point me in the right direction and possible repair costs? Live in the UK and thinking of just sorting it myself rather than have the dealer not fix the issue!

I bought this car to drive incase my nissan GT-R died (and for big shopping trips) but looks the other way round!!

Thanks!!
