this has happened a couple of times to me, the most recent being yesterday. IO wonder if it is more to do with something sirus does especially if many folks have had the same experience.

It was happening to me at least 3 times a week!
I think it says something like 'linking channels' and then takes me to channel 184. all presets gone.
I refuse to set presets now because I'm just gonna be pissed off in a couple days time.

Happens on my 2015 Q7 several times a week. Sometimes they reappear after a few minutes of driving, but most times not; and then they have to be reset. Pita!

I use the presets but the last time this happened I switched it so the preset number 1 is empty and my list starts at number 2....so far (2+weeks) it has not happened again.....

My Xm channel presets kept disappearing also.
XM updates their stations, I noticed when mine disappeared and when I searched for them again, they were renamed just for Christmas and New Year.
But, some stations disappeared that were not renamed and I had to restore them.
For instance, coffee house radio was renamed to Acoustic Christmas and preset left.
It is back to normal now, but every-other time I start the car, it takes several minutes to update stations and begin playing.
It is an XM thing!
