Spacer needed for front/rear with 20"x10" ET40?
I'll either be using the stock 275/45-20 or 295/40-20 tires with these wheels, but wanted to know if I needed spacers in the front and/or rear to make them look proper underneath the OEM fenders (I don't have the extra S-line fender strip). From my research, it seemed as if people were using at least a 3mm spacer in the rear to match the look of the front wheel/tire so the rear didn't look too tucked in. Thanks!

Thanks iconoclast!
Looks like the OEM 21x10 ET44 wheels fit well under the OEM fenders (excluding the S-line extended fender arches) well without needing spacers, correct? You just added spacers so the wheels push out to the S-line fender extensions?
Also, from your photos, were you running the 22" Rinspeed 5-spoke wheels?

that was not my Q7 but something i stumbled across when i was building the first Q7. i did not have the fender arches but wanted to put on the oem 21" wheels... they sat perfect and almost flush with the fender. in my opinion looks better than with since the arches make the wheel recessed and take away from the look.
