Default squeaking sound 0-15 mph..

The sound comes and goes, and from the back, not very loud. The squeaking sound is not as high pitch as the brake squeaking sound, and it occurs randomly (mostly when the car is warm)when the car starts rolling from stop. The sound can occur from 2-5 mph, or it can happen up to 10-15 mph, no more.

Does anyone know what's going on? Is this a common problem?

Default Is it on a hill?

the hill hold function keeps the brakes on even after your release pedal.
Is it your tires?
But basically...no never heard of any squeaky Q7s. Please come back with the solution.

Not on a hill, but usually on a very slight incline maybe 2-3 degrees. Sometimes it happens on a flat road. I don't think it's the wheels at all. Here is a sound clip that I recorded yesterday so I can bring that to the dealer.

Default brake drying feature maybe?

That's definitely metallic, it can't be the tires.
I see the car's wet, it's probably the brake pads being applied automatically to dry the pads/disks.

The noise occurrs on a dry day too. It happened to be raining that day when I was filming it...

Brake drag maybe. A tire/brake shop should be able to verify that.

Finally got the car back from Barrier Audi in Bellevue, WA. Apparently they thought the noises were a result of brake dust and they "removed rear calipers and rotors, cleaned and freased brakes." I am not sure what freased meant but it's what is indicated on the service report.

We'll see if that cures the problem, or not.

Default Maybe they meant greased..

sometimes they put heat resistant grease on the BACk of them to absorb vibrations and counter squealing.
Cant help thinking you have some other problem as the car has been around a couple of years now so we would have had a rash of these problems.
