Where Oh Where is the Water Coming from?
Still fairly new to the forum but have had a few posts. After reading https://www.audiworld.com/forums/sho....php?t=2779964
I'm trying to figure out where to start looking on my 2010 Q7 TDI. I just noticed after a heavy snowstorm and a couple of days later the stain appeared. What puzzles me is the actual color of the stain. Makes me think it is washer fluid that is leaking and maybe not the sunroof drain tubes being clogged.

Thank you for such a quick response. I did check the spare tire well and did not find any fluid there. I also checked the surrounding areas around the electronics and didn't find anything wet. Any other suggestions on where I should look next. It would make things much easier if it weren't sooo cold :/

Wow I just discovered the same thing on my Q7 in the same exact spot. WTF. Add this to the list of interior leaks. Already had a sunroof drain replaced (passenger side), now experiencing leaking on driver side....and NOW, purple stains in the rear? Where is the washer fluid coming from????

Where Oh Where is the Washer fluid coming from?
Glad I'm not the only one but wish I could find the source before any electronics get damaged. If it weren't so darn cold I would have already started taking things apart. But in this cold plactic tabs break really easy :/
Anyone else have this problem? If so, ehat did you do?

Been doing more research and its quite possible that either the hose is cracked or maybe a fitting. Trying to figure out if I should replace stock hose with silicone vacuum hose of the same diameter. From the diagrams I've seen, the crack maybe where the hinge is located. Once it gets warmer I'll have a crack at it and for the meantime won't use the rear washer...
I have the same issue. Audi tried to do a patch job because in my case there was a crack in the rear washer fluid hose.TO change out this hose the entire headliner would have to be removed, so AUdi tels me Well the patch job didn't work after a few days my rear washer did not work and I was seeing the same stains.
