VagCom Changes and Modifications MMI-3G+...

I had an opportunity to play around with the MMI-3G+ and VCDS/VagCom. There are a ton of new features and options but the coding is extremely different. I am going to browse around and see if I can figure is out.

I've already enabled oil temp, lap timer, boost gauge, adaptive brake lights, and highway/autobahn mode but I am having difficulty with auxiliary heating/cooling, battery meter display, tilt display w/ yaw, oil level gauge, increasing led intensity, disable amber corner light and folding mirrors upon locking doors.

If anyone has a link to an MMI-3G+ vcds/vagcom DIY pertaining to Q7 please post it.

How did you enable rain sensor control?

Isn't there a needle sweep and DVD player override to play while driving Vag Code as well?

playing around some more with different features and i still cant get the aux hvac to enable or be programmed... i was able to set it up and the mmi system acknowledges it and has a menu but it tells me that the system isnt available at this time. same for tilt display.

anyone here been able to do the battery meter on mmi-3g+ systems?

Subscribed. I was able to turn off the seatbelt warning, enable needle sweep on startup, VIM, adaptive air suspension lowering (maybe a couple others I can't recall?), but would be interested in the boost gauge, tilt display and open/close windows and sunroof with keyfob, among others.

How does one know if you have a MMI-3G+? Is it on a "2013 Q7 Prestige TDI S-Line with S-Line+" ?

I have used the VAG/COM versions 11.11.5(x64) and 12.10.5(x64) Beta and neither version gives me any indication what version of MMI that I have in my vehicle. I have read through the manual and have done a fair amount of research online and I still can not find out what a "VCID" is relative to the Ross-Tech product and what it stands for (abbreviation or acronym -- in computing there are several different variations for this term and it would be good to know how it is used in reference to their product) and why the last 4 digits are different depending on what release you use on the same vehicle (my original expectation is that the VCID should be the same irrespective of the version of the VAG/COM software used). I have had a running discussion with Ross-Tech and they always seem to evade answering that question for unknown reasons? There are a few other issues I have found and I am waiting for their response. Once I feel more confident in their product, perhaps I can help with some of your mode questions.

if your screens look like the ones above then you have mmi-3g+ if they look like the ones below it is MMI-3g:
