Default Cant obtain hidden menu

Hope this isn't threadjacking, or is in the proper place...

I have a 2012 Q7 TDI with a 3G (not plus) MMI
I have tried multiple things to get the green menu up, but to no avail.

I have adapted 05 and 06, both independently and together to 01 from 00.
I have run them back to 0, separately and together, and then back to 01.

I have tried multiple combinations of Menu and Car, simultaneously, etc...
all this is based on everything that I can find online, but I still can't get the Green Menus to show up....

What am I doing wrong?

To enter Green Menu: Press Setup and Car buttons simultaneously

I've watched both of these, and have done this exactly, and I have no menu.
Any other suggestions?

You need VagCom to give you permission to get into the menu. It is disabled so average Joe's don't go poking around in there.

I have that, and have done that.
I generated the code per serial number, and VCDS said "accepted"

are you referring to the "green screen" menu?
if so there is a channel that you have to enable to allow for hidden menu.
if that is accepted then you can access the menu using the methods listed.

Dealer was willing to print out the stock coding list.
I set everything back to factory, then enabled address 6 to "1"
Green menu now works, although not much of it does anything for me

I'm P+... seems like everything I have is already turned on.

The rear marker lights are a big desire, but I don't have Cent Conv II
