valve cover gasket possible leak
close up photo
I've had the 2009 Q7 (3.6) for almost a year now. Currently it has 112,000km on it (bought it at 99,000km). The other day I've noticed a possible leak coming from valve cover gasket on left hand side of the engine. Seems to be leak is just starting to happen as surrounding areas looked stained but not wet. It's difficult to see what's going on deeper towards back engine under the cover. I'm attaching two photos for reference.
1) Is this a leak that is urgent to be fixed?
2) Can I do this work myself? If yes, any videos, tips etc? I'm assuming most difficult thing would be to assemble gasket correctly so future leaks don't come back. Also, I'm a bit worried if I do this myself I might screw up something else.

The prior owner of mine had the valve cover gasket replaced at 99,807 miles. Parts were $91 and the labor charge was $603, which I guess is 4 to 5 billable hours. The invoice says "engine repair heavy".
