Tires....
How many of you buy the recommend tires? I have a 2008 Q7 S-line. I went to go buy some tires at Discount tires, I was buy some Goodyear tires and the guy didn't want to sell them to me cause they weren't XL tires. I have the same tires on a truck so I told them "well let me buy them for my truck". they still said no cause they told me "we know your going to install them in the Q7". Has this ever happen to any Q7 owners??

Besides XL, the load index also must be high - original is 109, but I did use 103 and they're fine. The XL has side wall beefed up for less tire flex while turning.
I'm using Q5 M+S tires on my Q7 and I love them, less road noise and more comfortable. I don't drive much and I do drive easy with the car.
The store has liability issues, so they have to sell what's required. You can get the same ones from tirebuyer or tirerack.
