Just learned that there is an ADDITIONAL 1500$ from bosch for these gen 2 q7s? wow..what a deal.
Audi dealer did the 65k mile service on it already new tires, brake flush and 4 wheel alignment. Needless to say, cant wait to pick it up!
8200+1500...that is an awesome discount.

What do you mean by 8200+1500? I was under the assumption any Gen2 at a dealer has already been "fixed" so there is no additional payout on them? Im looking at getting a TDI Q7 and really confused about all of this. Maybe its best for me to call Audi Canada and have a chat.

I dont know about the Canadian settlements, but they usually lag behind US VW decisions. The new flash is still not out therefore no Gen 2 SUVs have been fixed yet. I was scrambling to find the "right" one for us but seem to have found it now. I should also reiterate, to my understanding, 2015s were stop saled, but these other ones were traded in and at the moment are free to be sold normally. If the previous owner or non OEM dealer has not claimed their half, new owner can collect the full fix money. half now half after the fix is done.
Someone please correct me if my information is wrong.

99% on point. Many 2015's were sold before the stop sale went into effect as the 2015 model year started in Sep 2014.

The Stop Sale was only on NEW vehicles, dealers can sell used 2015 models.. Once they been fixed the EPA will allow Audi to sell off the inventories of NEW 2015 models w/the fix already applied.. Many people hope to get a good deal on those, but my gut is telling me that almost all dealers will be asking the original MSRP on them, perhaps with a small discount.. but those thinking they can get em for anywhere near the used price will be very sad/angry when they see what really goes down.

If its anything like the 2015 VW's that were stop saled, the'll change the oil, put new tires on it, install a new battery and then mark it up whatever the corporate discount was and sell it for full MSRP, and the'll fly off the lots due to the pent up demand.

Oh once the stop sale is lifted after the fix is released, they might allow some of the lower mile used models that come through to go out as CPO with all that entails.. hard to say, technically most of the 2015's will be >2yro to qualify for CPO by then.. but they might give an allowance w/all the buybacks to offload.

I'm not sure, but I don't think any Gen2 3.0 have been fixed in Canada yet. They haven't even finished the 3.0 settlement - only the the 2.0 suit has been settled and have buy-backs in motion. I think they have a court date later this month for the 3.0.

And based on the Canadian 2.0 settlement, there won't be any Bosch money in Canada.

Another settlement question, eligible Q7 owners, we can get half now when registering for the fix, and half once it is flashed, correct?

Half of the VW settlement up front, and the other half plus Bosch $ when the fix is done.

Ok. The one I'm looking at is a gas model engine. I don't want to hijack this thread but are there any issues/concerns I should be aware of for the 2013 q7? Thanks.
