Default Weathertech Rear Mat Photos...

Does anyone on here have the Weathertech rear mats installed?
Part Number: 441512

I am curious to see how it looks installed and if there are tabs that work with the factory fasteners.

I have these and it looks like the picture you posted, with the dimple designed to rest over the factory fastener. The difference between mine and the pic you posted is that the raised edge nearest the door has curled over from my kids stepping on it while climbing in.
Personally I don't like these mats. They are really thin and flimsy and give the vehicle a cheap feel while driving. I am considering tossing them and going with the OEM rubber mats. I have them in my A3 and they feel great under the feet.

i have the oem mats. they're very heavy and durable however they do not cover the transmission tunnel which gets trampled by kids and abused during the winter.

True, there's that. I'm not having that problem at the moment as each child gets in and out of his seat by way of his respective door. And no one sits in the middle yet. I'll post a pic after I get home showing the wear and tear.

I have CocoMats for the entire back of the Q7. I can remove either of the ones that cover the 2nd row seat on the rare times I need to carry a 3rd or 4th person.

maybe you could rig something that goes over the transmission tunnel and slips under OEM rear matts on each side so it stays secure. Weather tech makes ok products but I don't see all the hype for them. I personally think the OEM sets are way better. If you get the weather tech they'll hold up just like OEM and you'll like them.

i prefer to have them exit and enter curbside. safer and does not disrupt the flow of traffic.

i have done this in the past with plastic sheets the detailing centers use but if left too long it leaves a sticky residue which is more difficult to clean than salt residue.

i saw weathertech offers a third row option as well... i rarely ever use it but would be nice to have if it fits and works well. i have used the plastic sheets in the past for the same purpose.
