What is this piece?
I replaced my driver side lower taillight(the one in the bumper) and notice this on the ground. Not sure if this is part of the light(does not look like it) or something else. Not sure if it was there before I started either. Just wanted to know if anyone knew what this tiny hose was or where is goes too. Thanks

That is a U drain that is supposed to be attached to the lights breather outlet.
While everyone thinks headlights etc are sealed they are not. they have breather holes to allow moisture and heat out.
This U is attached to the exit hole so things can not get easily into the housing.
I do not know which one it fell off of though. You would most likely have to check the other side or pull up a schematic of sorts!
What is the make model year of the car and exactly which light?

It came off the Drivers Side Rear Bumper tail lights, 2008 Audi Q7 S-Line, mine was cracked and was replacing it. I will go look and see if I can figure it out. Thanks for answering you are must very knowledgeable. If you have any other insight about this, I would be forever grateful. Thanks again

Well I looked at used tail lights on ebay upper and in lower bumper and I cant see any with these on it.
truthfully the lights will be fine without it. I cant picture a real life situation they are trying to overcome besides submerging the car in water past the lights? lol
