Wheel paint coming off
This is one of the wheels on my 2014 Q7 TDI with 27k miles. I have not found any matching paint either. Anyone else’s doing this? I’m in Maryland and this is the only car of 5 having this issue.

Are those an original wheels or Chinese replicas! Only reason why I’m asking because it happened to a friend of mine on a Mercedes. He bought a 2yo car and a year later all wheels started to peel off. He went to a dealer and they told him that his wheels were cheap replicas. And in fact they were.

doubt they are replicas, MK1 Q7's bolt pattern is unique to Audi.. none of the other vehicles run it, not even the new Q7, nobody is making reps of our OEM wheels with such a limited market, and if they did the'd be in a different bolt pattern more than likely.. Merc wheels are another issue..
id wager someone repaired that tire poorly in the past

Thanks for the input, it looks ugly, but I'll probably ignore it until its tire time and then look into a set of wheels and tires of a different size. Not sure I will stay with 20's, depends on tire selection. My wife has a 2015 Q7 with 18's and that might be a good size to go with.
