the entire center console plastic piece is snapped to the roof. Just pull down on it : start from the emd with the home linik and work your way around to the windshield.

BTW, I remember the map lights being tricky to get out because you need to spin them and pull them out at the same time. I eventually got them out, but one of mine fell between the seat and the console and disappeared deep under the floor. Luckily it doesn't rattler. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND COVERING THIS AREA WITH A TOWEL BEFORE YOU TRY TO PULL THEM OUT.
(I totally forgot about the visor lights -- they're still regular bulbs).
