Taylor,

I have Xpel on my Q7 and couldn't be happier. Ive had both 3M and Xpel and like the Xpel more.

The new Xpel has a 10 yr warranty so you can't go wrong.

I have my whole front end and hood fully wrapped along with my rocker panels and rear bumper.

Cheers

I have SunTek on mine. My installer says the Xpel is not as good; and he does both - almost exclusively on Porsches.

I'm happy with mine.

The absolute best used to be Nano-Fusion by Avery Dennison. However, they sold the process to China; and it is no longer what it used to be.

Xpel Ultimate film hands down. It's the only film on the market that claims self-healing properties and a clear coat layer on top like your paint. Three years in on mine and it looks as god as new - no yellowing or hazing whatsoever. And not one rock chip in over 35K miles.

I have full front (hood and fenders have wrapped edges so no visible seams), mirrors, A-pillars, rocker panels and rear bumper by trunk opening. Cost around $1600 including full pre-install paint prep.

I feel it is. Here's a couple of my full front install. You can't see the Xpel Ultimate in the photos but that's the point - it's invisible while it does it's rock chip protection. Also, my hood and fenders have wrapped edges so no seams are visible. None of Xpel's kits were used - my installer custom cuts all pieces which provides a tighter fit to the edges and allows for wrapping the larger pieces as mentioned above.

Keep in mind, Xpel makes several levels of film but only the "Ultimate" (their best and most expensive) will have the self healing properties.
