2014 Q7 Audi Connect Tmobile to AT&T Questions
 

So I called Audi Connect and they sent me a tmobile sim which I activated. It is 3G with unlimited data. They said the service might not be great and AT&T service is better but I need a software update to use the AT&T sim. I was at a Audi dealer and asked the service department about it and they did not know. Since the car is already 3g there is no hardware to upgrade, correct? What software might they be talking about? I did just upgrade the MMI firmware to latest version. Its been a month now and I called Audi Connect and told them I wanted the AT&T sim and they are sending one out, but they said when I switch there is no switching back. So, will the AT&T sim from Audi Connect work? For the time being I want to have the Audi Connect service with unlimited data. Does anyone here have any input on this?

I use Mint Mobile, which works great. I switched from T-mobile.

Doesn't Mint Mobile use the T Mobile network?

Someone from Audi USA called me today. She told me for my 2014 it needs a software update for the AT&T sim. She referenced TSB 2047951/2, but couldn't tell me much else. Does anyone have access to this TSB?
