Audi Q7 air suspension problem

Hy.I'm new on this site.I'm from Romania, and sorry for my bad english.I have an audi q7 2007 4.2 tdi with air suspension. My problem is with one wheel air suspension(rear right). I put the suspension in offroad mode everything is ok.When i put it in comfort mode, the rear right suspension stay at the same level(offroad). When i put it in dynamic mode is going down, but very little(1 cm).The rest of three air suspension work fine.Someone can help me.Thanks

You really need to take it to a dealer or an independent repair shop that can do a computer readout on the system.

Hy

i checked for error with vcds and vas. And isn't any error. Everything it's ok. I think the problem is with level sensor on that wheel.it probably send some wrong values.thanks for reply

I would say it's almost guaranteed to be the check valve at the top of the air suspension unit. They stick and stop air either going in or out of the air bag.

Thanks

If the problem is the valve and the air don t in or out, i think the suspension on that wheel must be stuck in one position.but it change the position(1 cm) betwen offroad and dinamic.any chance to be the level sensor on that wheel? For now i will buy that valve. Thank You very much

I should add, if you have the ability you can remove the valve and connect the pressure line directly to the suspension unit and then see if it works normally.
If it does, simply fit a new valve and the problem is cured. I would fit a new valve on both sides because they will both fail at about the same time.

It is possible to replace these valves without removing the suspension unit - it's very tight but a lot quicker but you have to be careful removing the old one because they are easy to shear off. Make sure you have the car safely jacked up - it will drop once the old valve is removed!
This is advice only you work on the suspension entirely at your own risk and if you are not sure take it to a professional mechanic!
